Power Amplifier
The power amplifier in DT340 Fully Digital Power Line Carrier uses CMOS (complementary MOS) tube with S-polar output and class AB operation to achieve highly efficient transition and low non-linear distortion, so its performance is far in excess of transistor-output-amplifier. However, the circuit-design and manufacture techniques are difficult. The power amplifiers in carriers produced by SIEMENS and ABB and both of them adopt this mode, while Chinese inland manufacturers mostly employ the power amplifier integrated transistors.
